Gun Violence Awareness Month
To kick off National Gun Violence Awareness Month, our Emerging Artists' artwork was featured on the North Charles Street Jumbotron in Baltimore, Maryland. Our students created these images by exploring and expressing their feelings to develop their own message that would disrupt the culture of gun violence. A huge thank you to Eubie Blake National Jazz and Cultural Center for helping our students showcase their work and become powerful advocates for change. Many of ours students used the phrase "don't shoot" to highlight and stress the importance of creating a safer community, free of violence. These images were turned into stickers and are now purchasable. Help support our young artists and get your own stickers today!
