R.I.S.E
Legacy Arts Academy

Where Creativity Becomes a Pathway.
R.I.S.E. Legacy Arts Academy is a year-round creative workforce development and career pathway program designed to prepare teens and young adults for meaningful futures in the arts and creative industries.
Through hands-on training, professional mentorship, and real-world creative experiences, participants develop their artistic talents while building the professional skills needed to transition from young creatives to working artists, entrepreneurs, and creative professionals.
Legacy Arts participants explore specialized creative disciplines such as visual arts, product innovation, sewing and textiles, technical theatre, stagecraft, and other areas of the creative economy. Alongside their artistic training, participants gain experience in professional communication, portfolio and résumé development, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, self-advocacy, collaboration, and career readiness.
More than an arts program, Legacy Arts Academy is a pathway. Participants have opportunities to work alongside professional artists, contribute to R.I.S.E. productions and community projects, create and sell original work, explore creative careers, and transition into paid internships, mentorship, and employment opportunities.
Designed with a special focus on neurodivergent and Black and Brown young people, Legacy Arts creates an inclusive and culturally responsive environment where participants can discover their strengths, develop their creative identity, and begin building their own professional legacy.
Create. Develop. Lead. Build Your Legacy.
